Our nutrition programs vary from very simple and easy to as complex as you would like. For some of you, life is crazy busy, between work, kids, and just all the time that life takes up you need something simple that takes no time out of your day but in fact saves you time adding simplicity to your day. Whereas some of you may want to count calories, micros and macros along with timing your meals.
We are able to keep it simple yet customizable , because our meal replacement shakes are not a one size fits all your shake will be custom designed for your body to keep you full and satisfied. One of the big misunderstandings about diets is that you will be starving all the time which is miserable! When you are hungry and your body is not getting sufficient amount of calories, protein and nutrients. Exhaustion and moodiness usually come along with diets like that. Not to mention the weight that is lost on diets that are not correctly customized for your body you will usually gain most of the weight if not more weight back.
Gaining weight may seem impossible for those of you who have tried and tried. Most diets just tell you to eat everything so you can gain weight so you do and all you gain is fat. Healthy weight gain is similar to healthy weight loss you need the right amount of nutrition calories and protein for your body in the correct balance along with the correct workouts. Gaining muscle does take more work than weight loss but it is still very simple and we have some great options for you.
Water is also a very simple yet necessary thing for living a healthy life. Most adults should be drinking no less than 100oz of water per day. Prolong dehydration can cause so many health issues. Migraines, stiff joints, constipation, bad breath, feeling tired and many other things. You bodies organs are made up of mostly water, so dehydration can effect much more than just the surface of symptoms
The Human Body is 72%water
Lungs = 90% water
Blood = 82% water
Skin = 80% water
Muscle = 75% water
Brain = 70% water
Bones = 22% water
Calories seem complex at times but they really can be very simple.
3500 calories equal one pound. So cutting out 500 calories per day can result in one pound per week. However, there is more to it than that. At first you may only seethe good results of weight loss. Great! but then the side effects of low energy (which may seem normal to you) and then the plateau! What happens is not just calories are being cut so is nutrition. It is very important to keep the nutrition high and the calories low.
How Low should my calories be?
Everyone has a different calorie count for their body and activity level. Calorie intake is based upon a net calorie off of your resting metabolic rate. One of the first things your coach will do is find your resting metabolic rate to be able to accurately calculate your net calorie intake for the day. The reason it is Net calories is because the amount of calories burned in a workout will increase the amount of calories that should be taken in. This process will keep your body out of starvation mode where if that happens your body will actually store fat. Again it sounds complicated but that is what your coach is for. We will do all the figuring out and keep it simple for you.
